What is the difference between a consultant, a mentor, a therapist and a coach?

Consultants are experts with the knowledge in a given field. They are able to find problems and propose and implement solutions to them. They give advice or recommendations. When doing so, they follow from the needs of an organisation.
Mentors are practitioners with their own experience in the given field or position. They are teachers, masters with a partly personal approach to clients. They teach clients by their own example. They show and share proven procedures.
Psychotherapists are specialists for mental health who help clients solve their personal problems or conflicts. They usually focus on the processing of emotional problems which originate from the client´s past or childhood. They stimulate and facilitate positive changes in the client´s way of living.
Coaches are specialists for releasing the human potential, overcoming internal obstacles and creating a motivating environment. They support personal and professional growth of the coached, help them develop skills and competences and achieve their own positive goals. They use action strategies which follow from the present and lead to the future.
